EMMA GVS (Grid Voltage Stabilisation) trials to proceed

EMMA GVS (Grid Voltage Stabilisation) trials to proceed on Wind, PV and Hydro projects

The EMMA GVS (Grid Voltage Stabilisation) has been accepted for trialling on a dozen sites with a major UK based Network Operator. When approved the unit will allow sites with limits on the size of micro-generator to install larger units with a guarantee that the export limits are not exceeded. This negates the need for network upgrades and makes installations viable.

Other uses for the technology are also being reviewed. These include the stabilisation of networks with large numbers of micro-generators AND for demand side management with distributed generation – e.g. 1MW wind turbines.

ELITE Control

The ELITE is the latest addition to the EMMA product family. While we consider it to be the Elite of power diversion and monitoring it is in fact EMMA's little sibling or as we call it EMMA lite.
